An opening and a performance
On Wednesday evening, we went to Village St. Paul, which is just a few blocks walk from here. It's a series of courtyards, with shops around them. They've colored coded the exits with lights, which is very helpful, especially at night. The opening was in a temporary space, some paintings by an Irish guy and a performance piece by a woman, named Mary. We sat around in the courtyard, drinking wine, chatting with people, hearing lots of different languages spoken. Jaap & Adis were there, but no one else that we'd met before. More and more people arrived and finally the performance began inside of the space. The weather was nice and it was pleasant to be able to be outdoors, to meet people, to drink some wine, and then have a nice walk "home."
