Berthillon, Yum!
We went out last night, crossed over to Ile St. Louis in search of some Berthillon. This is the most delicious ice cream, with extremely intense flavors. We stood in line, which is a good thing, because then we had lots of time to decide which flavors we'd get. Citron, fraise, gianduja, noix de coco, poire...how to decide. Finally we got up to the window and...the time to say it..for me Cerise, a very dark, raspberry-colored intense CHERRY flavor single boule; for Chuck a double, cafe and noix de coco. YUM! We'll try not to do this every night.
