I spent most of today indoors. One thing, I still have my cold, and secondly, it was gray and damp out, and thirdly, I decided to use the Cité laundry facilities to do our towels. Bad decision. There are only 3 washing machines and one dryer, and everyone deciding that today was a good day to do laundry. Lots of waiting. Here are views out of the window as I sat at the table this morning. Just beyond the roadway is the Seine. You can't tell from these photos that there are big traffic jams, because of the transportation strike. We haven't been near any of the demonstrations or noticed anything different for us, except that the metro was very crowded the other day. For those of you you weren't with me last year when I posted views of the studio, there are three floor to ceiling windows in this place. It's fabulous!

I can't believe it, but I remember that view out the front of the building! Sorry you've been sick. Rainy day is a good excuse to stay in and not feel bad about it though. feel better soon!
