The night we went to Cowgirl Hall of Fame restaurant on Hudson St. in the West Village, we were very hungry. We ordered way much food, all delicious. Not in the photo: corn on the cob, guacamole & chips.
The lovely salad Nicoise was at SoHo Park on Spring and Lafayette in SoHo. Very fresh food but so much plastic! The plate of Indian food shows my second helpings. The restaurant is Salaam Bombay on Greenwich. Delicious buffet. The green plastic container held rice pudding from Rice to Riches, take out only, which is on Spring St. between Mott and Mulberry. We had Almond Shmalmond and The Edge of Rum Raisin. The flavors were amazing. Picture an ice cream, gelato or frozen yogurt shop...substitute rice pudding for the cold desserts, that's what the shop is like. It's very futuristic in design, smells sweet and the pudding is so rich and good. Yum!
I had a polenta topped with sun-dried tomatoes and asparagus and mi Hija had an eggplant Parmagiana sandwich at an Italian place on 10th Ave. I can't remember the name of it, but it was near 20th and so good. I think i can replicate the polenta dish but not so sure about that delicious rice pudding. yummmmy.
Note: just found card with name of restaurant where we got polenta & sandwich. It's Don Giovanni on 10th Ave. between 22nd and 23rd. It's good!
