This morning, it was raining but the workers in green were out putting cement around a light pole. They did a very thorough job of it, making it very smooth and even with the rest of the sidewalk. It was fascinating to watch them. Every night, we see the orangy glow of the streets lights from the Ile St. Louis reflected on the ripples of the Seine. It's so peaceful and lovely, like an impressionistic painting.
