MOMA and saw the
Martin Puryear show. It was terrific. Lots of pieces, and only a couple that we've seen before. We also saw the Seurat drawing show, works from the Latin American Art collection and abstract works from the permanent collection. After that, we went to see a show of embroidered art, called Pricked, at the
American Craft Museum. Pretty amazing work. On Saturday, we went to Chelsea to galleries. This Patrick
Mimran sign caught my attention. what do you think? Is he right?

What a fun trip! I haven't been to MOMA in years, although I did get to SFMOMA a couple weeks ago. It's an interesting quote.
Sure, he's right. We interpret each piece we see from our point of view. Art is so personal and it won't mean the same thing to two people. I think what he said is profound and beautiful.
Hmm, interesting thought. I'm not sure. I'll have to ruminate on it.
That Craft Musuem exhibit sounds neat. I wonder if it's still running... I love that museum, but I forget to go to it.
