Alterations to Vintage Cards
Of course - giant shoes in landscapes. What else?
I didn't keep a copy of what I wrote on the reverse for most of these before I sent them off. You can think up your own stories, if you'd like.
A giant shoe on the lawn of the United Daughters of the Confederacy building. Can you imagine how perturbed the ladies were to find this on their lawn?
I have the story for this one - Who decided on a shoe ornament for the garden was never discovered. The gardeners disliked it immensely. It filled with water when it rained and was hard to drain.
I amuse myself, make myself laugh.
Write a few stories yourself and let me know if you do.

Some Circles and Squares
I made a few postcards for my groups on IUOMA I originated two groups - one for Circles and one for Squares. The Circle one has a very active following but the squares, not so much. I used the " let them fall" method of placement, then glued the bits wherever they fell. Then I gave them titles.

A few altered postcards
I always write a little story on the reverse. Something about what's happening in the image like, the legs in the first image look like tap dancers so I made a story about the noise, and in the lighthouse how the giant shell appeared and the effect it had on tourism. Can you guess what I might have written about the stamps falling from the sky at the new post office?
That Post Office building now houses the U.S. National Postal Museum and I'm happy that I was able to visit it several times. It's located right by the Railway station. This postcard is one of the ones they offered for free, so I scooped up a few, okay, maybe more than a few. I can't wait until I can travel again and visit the museum.
