The Bunny Project

I received a postcard in an envelope, inviting me to participate in the Bunny Project. How fun. The card I received had the bottom right corner with a busy image and a piece of reddish paper. I was to add to it. And so I did, with a rubber stamp and some old postage stamps. What fun. I hope that it's well received.  It went out in today's mail.

Postcards from the National Postal Museum

My friend Annie, who now lives in Florida, grabbed a large supply of these postcards before moving south. She shared with me cause she knows I love them, too. I’m back to altering them. This one is heading to a mail art show with dadastation21 (P.O. Box 9594 Austin tx 78766)

On the reverse “the passers-by didn’t seem disturbed by the huge postage stamps falling from the sky!”

I remembered

I created a couple pieces of Mailart today. One is on an old postcards that had postage on it. Purchased from the postoffice by someone when postage was only 3¢ usd and the other on a piece of cardboard I’d cut to size.

I remembered to take photos of them.

Here we are again, finally!

I can’t believe, oh wait, I can believe that I haven’t posted in a very long time. So much going on. Life gets in the way. And my outgoing mail goes out but I’m lazy these days about taking photos of it, keeping only a written note as to who I’ve mailed to and there is a huge pile on my studio table of received Mailart. Oh well. Mayber I’ll do better. Now let’s see if I can upload a couple collages. Oops  nope didn’t want flower photo  can’t delete  oops  whew. Okay. Collages. The one with the flower has been mailed out already. The other isn’t glued down yet. I really like both of these.
