DELAYED!

These babies are going NO Where tonight!

Our flight from Richmond to Dulles airport was very delayed and we wouldn't be able to make our international connection. Needless to say, this was disconcerting! One of the agents suggested we rent a car and DRIVE to Dulles! Yeah, like not happening. We could get caught in Interstate traffic for DAYS.  I called N & J and asked them to return to the airport to get us. Meanwhile, a helpful United Airlines agent managed to rebook us on Delta for Tuesday.  Their fault so no extra charge to us. Whew!
We stopped to pick up some dinner, returned home; then I sent e-mails to the Cite (nous sommes arrivés un jour de retard) and the Paris Shuttle (hopefully our new voucher  will arrive in time for our leaving home tomorrow at early afternoon.) Aaaagh!

Oh, and here's the other thing, I suspended my cell phone service starting 3 January. Tonight at midnight, I'm cut off. Oh, No, I'm going old school. No phone contact once we leave our house tomorrow.   Au revoir, again!

Actually, phonelady, I'm kinda up in the air right now! What to do. Well, I did totally clean my 'fridge' this morning since I was up at 07h30. That's good. I think we will make it into the air today, PamelaArts in you-know-where. Next posting from Paree, for sure.

How did I get into this?

I was asked when I started doing Mailart. Good question. Like many artists, I was making and mailing art without even knowing it had a name ...
